Duties

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, following food safety protocols.
  • Assist with cleaning tables and ensuring a tidy environment for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry or quick service restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
