Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient services, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties

  • Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection laws
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient admissions
  • Handle correspondence, billing, and insurance claims efficiently
  • Supervise administrative staff and provide training as needed
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Liaise with medical professionals, patients, and external agencies to facilitate smooth operations
  • Oversee inventory management of medical supplies and office equipment
  • Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and billing procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Healthcare Administration diploma or degree are advantageous
