Job Summary

We are seeking an efficient, dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. Prior hotel, hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is highly valued. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding the cleanliness standards that reflect our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in resident rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Maintain high standards of floor care, including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
  • Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
  • Adhere to established health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks when required

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction and polishing hard floors
  • Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies
