Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of the facility.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted and sanitized.
  • Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
  • Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or repairs required in guest rooms or public areas.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain safety and hygiene standards within the facility.
  • Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the housekeeping department.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A background in hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff alike.
