Position Summary

As a Runner, you will play a key role in connecting the kitchen and dining room, making sure the presentation and standard of excellence of food presentation is on point and ensuring each dish is delivered with care, accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and quality service.

Pay Rate $16.50-$17.50/hr + tips

Responsibilities

• Creating a warm, fun, easy and polished impression for customers
• Deliver excellence at all times
• Anticipate guest needs and assist with clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables throughout service
• Demonstrate a commitment to Rotation's standards and processed, menu knowledge and attention to detail
• Embrace a tea

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, guest-facing or culinary support role
• Must meet the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work certain shifts, and/or perform the full scope of kitchen responsibilities, in accordance with local labor and safety regulations
• Part-time and full-time positions available. Some weekend availability is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Commitment to proper safety and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification (must meet state regulations).
• Valid Food Handlers Certification (must meet state regulations).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to assess situations and make quick, accurate decisions.
• Capable of performing well in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
