We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Senior Analyst
to join equity Real Estate Asset Management team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact the performance of a diverse, nationwide real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role supporting the Asset Management team which is actively managing our direct and indirect real estate investments across the country. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Investment Strategy & Approvals:
    Support the preparation of comprehensive Investment Committee recommendations for critical asset decisions, including annual budgets, major leases, capital expenditures, financing, refinancing, and dispositions.
  • Financial Modeling:
    Develop robust investment models utilizing
    Argus
    and
    Excel
    to analyze lease, sales, and refinancing strategies, including using discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Conduct detailed quarterly financial reviews and continuously monitor investment performance, rigorously comparing actual results against underwritten projections and budget.
  • Data Management & Reporting:
    Coordinate the regular collection, analysis, and reporting of key operational data, such as rent rolls, financials, and energy consumption metrics, managing ad-hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree is required, with
    1 to 2 years
    of related professional experience in real estate, preferably within asset or portfolio management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Argus financial modeling software is a big plus.
  • Solid understanding of core real estate fundamentals, valuation concepts, and capital structures, with a basic familiarity with complex capital structures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for asset-related duties.
