About the Team
The Learning Enablement Team within the GUP Organization (Google Consumer Products) focuses on developing and optimizing training programs for agents, social, and retail teams supporting Google's hardware products such as Fitbit, Nest, and Pixel. The team's mission is to enhance product knowledge, improve troubleshooting quality, and drive customer support excellence through effective learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 20+ active projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee project plans, schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation activities.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams and product stakeholders to track progress and maintain program clarity.
- Synthesize large data sets into clear, actionable insights and reports.
- Support the creation and distribution of learning assets, ensuring consistency and clarity across programs.
- Improve operational processes and ensure transparent communication across all levels.
Mandatory Skills / Must-Haves
- Program & Project Management Expertise – Proven success managing multiple simultaneous projects and cross-functional coordination.
- Organizational Excellence – Ability to prioritize, manage complexity, and handle high project volume efficiently.
- Strong Communication Skills – Clear and structured messaging for stakeholder updates.
- Stakeholder Management – Ability to "herd cats" and unify diverse teams toward shared goals.
Preferred Skills / Nice-to-Haves
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Experience interpreting data tables, creating dashboards, and summarizing insights (Google Sheets preferred).
- LMS / CMS Familiarity – Beneficial but not required; systems are already established.
- AI Tool Familiarity – Comfort with emerging AI tools and willingness to learn integrated workflows.
- Hardware-Based L&D Experience – Experience supporting learning initiatives for consumer hardware (Fitbit, Nest, Pixel, Apple, Samsung).
Preferred Background
- Education: Bachelor's in Communications or Marketing preferred over traditional L&D.
- Certification: PMP preferred but not required; equivalent program management experience accepted.
- Experience Range: Ideal: 4–7 years | Acceptable: 10–12 years | 15+ years may be considered overqualified.
- Industry: Consumer hardware or tech-based learning enablement preferred.
