Position Overview: We seek a Preschool Administrative Assistant/Receptionist with a positive and professional demeanor to join our team. This role offers full-time opportunities, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility and a bubbly personality is a must. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have one year of leadership/management experience in a small business environment.
  • Associates degree or higher with a minimum of 3 ECE units. Educational Focus: Foundational knowledge in child development, health, safety, and basic curriculum.
  • Strong familiarity with Google Software Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, JotForm, and file conversion (verified with completion of online exam).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 and eligible for live scan.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online (including reconciliation) and payroll.
  • Strong communication skills and character.
  • Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and valid driver's license. Must be comfortable transporting children.
  • Verifiable references.
  • Ability to create flyers and update documents efficiently.
  • Up-to-date TB, influenza (if required), pertussis, and measles vaccinations, plus physical exam.
  • Resume must include a writing sample explaining your interest in the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day delegation of children & staff movements.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal, written, in person) with staff and parents.
  • Update operations manuals as needed
  • Coordinate reminders for anniversaries and birthdays
  • Review emails for important information
  • Manage paperwork for new families and process new interest leads
  • Oversee timesheet management
  • Verify parent payments and reconcile accounts
  • Support onboarding of new hires and maintain compliance with Title 22 regulations
  • Update student and staff schedules, including rosters and stop dates
  • Process legal documents and track immunizations and fire drills
  • Manage purging old documents
  • Proactive business marketing

Job Type: Full-time
