Job Summary

The Senior Producer at OtherNYC is the key liaison between clients, editors, and production teams, overseeing projects from bid to final delivery. This role manages communication, budgets, schedules, and creative workflow while maintaining organized documentation and financial accuracy. Supporting the founders and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, the Senior Producer helps shape high-quality commercial and branded content within a collaborative, fast-paced boutique studio environment.

What you'll do

Client & Project Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout each project.
  • Manage day-to-day communication between clients, editors, and internal staff.
  • Support the Founders with scheduling, sales materials and reels.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and communication logs.

Bidding & Pre-Production

  • Review boards/specs with agencies and editors; prepare detailed bids and revisions.
  • Coordinate pre-pro calls and gather vendor quotes as needed.
  • Track staffing and resource needs based on bid volume.

Production & Post

  • Oversee awarded projects from start to finish—contracts, schedules, budgets and delivery.
  • Track all costs and alert the agency producer/business manager to potential overages.
  • Liaise between editor and client for schedule updates, creative feedback and delivery specs.
  • Ensure all postings, approvals and deliverables follow internal best practice protocols.

Financial & Administrative

  • Secure POs and manage billing milestones (50 % / 25 % / 25 %).
  • Maintain accurate job actuals and provide final billing summaries for approval.
  • Close projects and reconcile all items upon completion.

Office & Team Support

  • Coordinate daily lunch orders and manage deliveries.
  • Help maintain a stocked, organized kitchen and communal areas.
  • Greet guests, couriers, and clients upon arrival; ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Support general office needs and assist with small day-to-day tasks that keep the studio running smoothly.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of post-production or agency-side producing experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Apple OS, Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar), and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with and creating reels is a plus.
