Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as an After-School Teacher, Driver, and Camp Counselor, where you will play a vital role in nurturing children's growth, ensuring their safety, and creating engaging, enriching experiences. This dynamic position combines educational support, transportation responsibilities, and camp supervision. You will foster a welcoming environment that promotes childhood development, teamwork, and fun while maintaining safety and structure throughout all activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging after-school instruction through tutoring, arts and crafts, theater, sports, and enrichment activities
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior guidance and best practices in child development
  • Safely supervise and transport children to and from school or camp activities as a designated driver
  • Lead indoor and outdoor camp activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical activity
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment
  • Support children's emotional well-being using positive guidance and nurturing approaches
  • Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, and team members about student needs and progress

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with children in childcare, daycare, after-school, or early childhood education settings
  • Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
  • Experience with special education and inclusive teaching strategies (preferred)
  • Background in tutoring, sports coaching, theater, babysitting, or camp counseling (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
