Responsibilities

  • Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cakes, sweet desserts, or other products
  • Measure and weigh ingredients
  • Prepare pastries and desserts according to recipes
  • Fulfill orders of special cakes; advanced skills in cake decoration are a plus.
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and make orders to vendors
  • Clean and sanitize the work station and equipment

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a pastry chef or similar role
  • Dedicated to working with a team towards one goal
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the kitchen area
  • Highly adaptable to various situations and stress levels
