Job Title: Laboratory Diagnostic Services Provider

Location: Woodbury, NJ 08096

Compensation: Up to $960

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Diagnostic Services Provider to deliver high-quality laboratory and phlebotomy services in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant testing procedures while maintaining strong communication and coordination with healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive laboratory and phlebotomy services for facility residents.
  • Ensure all phlebotomists are properly licensed and/or certified as required by the State of New Jersey.
  • Perform early morning blood draws (by 6:00 a.m.) on designated lab days—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—and handle STAT requests as needed.
  • Maintain 24/7/365 availability for laboratory and phlebotomy services.
  • Integrate effectively with SigmaCare or similar electronic systems for lab orders and result reporting.
  • Provide continuous online access to laboratory results for facility staff.
  • Guarantee STAT test turnaround times within 2–4 hours.
  • Ensure residents are not billed separately for travel or phlebotomy services.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory or phlebotomy experience (experience in long-term care preferred).
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, preferably SigmaCare.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accurate and timely diagnostic testing.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and delivering high-quality care.
Education & Licensure:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Licensed or certified Phlebotomist/Laboratory Technician in the State of New Jersey (required).
