Must Haves

  • Experience designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining F5 BIG-IP & Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC) Load Balancers
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to load balancers and backend servers
  • Migration experience
  • Stakeholder management/ability to collaborate with different internal teams

Plusses

  • Experience as a network engineer in a healthcare setting or a highly regulated industry

Day to day

  • Insight Global is looking for a Load Balancing Engineer for our customer in Philadelphia. As a Load Balancing Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable and redundant load balancing solutions for applications, websites, and services. You will be responsible for planning and implementing a large load balancer migration project. After the project is completed, you'll manage and troubleshoot load balancers (including F5 BIG-IP and Citrix NetScaler), optimize traffic flow, and collaborate with network security teams to ensure compliance and best practices. You'll also handle migrations between load balancing platforms, resolve performance issues, and support network hardware and protocols. This position will begin with 3-4 days onsite per week in Philadelphia and then become hybrid/remote once you've completed orientation, learned the system, and met stakeholders.

Compensation

$58 to $62

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
