Job Overview

We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Front Desk Treatment Coordinator who is well-versed in insurance claim filing and billing to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check-in patients with professionalism and care.
  • Clearly explain treatment plans, financial responsibilities, and insurance coverage to patients.
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
  • Accurately file dental insurance claims and follow up on unpaid claims.
  • Submit pre-authorizations and process EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances from patients at time of service.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and financial information.
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently and manage the provider's schedule.
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks and ensure the front office runs smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience, including treatment coordination.
  • Proficient in dental insurance billing and claims processing (PPO, out-of-network, etc.).
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, CDT codes, and insurance guidelines.
  • Recent experience with Dentrix dental practice management software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a private dental practice.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
