Role Overview

We are seeking a
dynamic Sales Representative
with proven experience in
carpet sales to government agencies or commercial real estate clients
. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, build trust, and close deals in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting
    government contracts and commercial property managers
    .
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement officers, and facility managers.
  • Present flooring solutions that meet compliance, durability, and aesthetic requirements.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts from initiation to close.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth installation and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, government procurement processes, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in carpet or flooring sales
    , specifically to
    government or commercial real estate sectors
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    government bidding processes
    and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
