The Role
We're hiring an Account Executive to hunt, win, and grow commercial accounts across janitorial, construction cleaning, and painting services. You'll own a full sales cycle, from prospecting and site-walks to proposals, pricing with Operations, and post-scale relationship hand-off. This role reports to the Owner/President.
What You'll Do
●
Build and manage a proactive pipeline, averaging $4M+ in annual new revenue once established.
●
Prospect and book meetings with decision-makers (property managers, facility leaders, GC's).
●
Leader site assessments, scope development, and RFP responses; partner with Operations to price/estimate.
●
Present proposal, negotiate terms, and close multi-site and enterprise agreements.
●
Ensure clean hand-offs: stay engaged through the first 6 months to support retention and expansion.
●
Track activity and deals in Salesforce (or similar CRM); report on KPIs (meetings, proposals, win rates, GP).
●
Represent RTG Building Services at select trade groups and events that deliver high ROI
What Success Looks Like (KPI Targets)
Weekly: 8-10 new prospect outreachers, 5+ decision-maker meetings, 2-3 site-walks.
Monthly: 8-12 proposals submitted; win rate trending 25%-35+ depending on segment.
Annual (steady state): $4M+ new revenue with healthy gross profit.
You Bring…
●
5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales success in facility services, construction services, coatings/paintings, or adjacent services.
●
Proven hunting motion: prospecting, multi-stakeholder selling, and closing complex service agreements
●
Strong operations partnership: comfortable scoping, pricing inputs, and margin discipline.
●
CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred), solid Excel, Google Sheets skills, and sharp written proposals.
●
High integrity, urgency, organization, and follow-through.
Nice to Have
●
Existing relationships in healthcare, arenas/venues, manufacturing, education, or property management
●
Experience selling multi-site or multi-service contracts across region.
Compensation & Benefits
●
Base $50,000-$60,000 (DOE) + uncapped commissions; OTE $100,000-$120,000 after ramp.
●
Commission: 20% of gross profit on sold work; 50% at contract, 50% at 6-month retention.
●
First-year base accelerator available depending on experience.
●
Benefits: Medical insurance, Simple IRA (3% match), paid time off.
●
Travel: Up to 25% for site-walks and client meetings.
●
Location: Omaha HQ; regional travel; flexible field work.
