Summary:  The Financial Manager FP&A will be responsible for providing both day-to-day insights and big picture analysis to help optimize performance at BrandsMart.  This position will need to attain a deep understanding of the retail industry. This position will have high visibility and exposure within the business and collaborate with subject matter experts both within Finance/Accounting and across the company.  The candidate will be required to leverage financial and business knowledge to influence senior leadership and help formulate recommendations related to the company's corporate strategy or operations.  Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and building of the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, financial analysis, as well as other monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting for BrandsMartIncluding the 3-5 year financial modelPrepares monthly financial package for senior management, including commenting on variances to plan, reforecast and prior yearAnalyze large sets of data for incorporation into the planTrack and analyze forecasts vs. budget; identifying key risks and opportunities; ensure all risks and opportunities are appropriately reflected in the forecast and forward projectionsAnalyze financial information and reports to provide clear, accurate and timely financial decision support to managementCreates reports and metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational trackingAssists the Aaron's Corporate Finance team with forecasting the 13-week cash flow for BrandsMartRequired Education, Experience, and Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance or another quantitative/analytical fieldMBA or CPA license is a plus but not required7 years of experience in a finance or analytical role – preferably within FP&A, management consulting, or similar environment with increasing levels of responsibility3 years of experience analyzing income statements, balance sheets and cash flowsSQL, PowerBI, and highly proficient in Microsoft Suite Experience creating complex spreadsheets and financial models in Microsoft excelExperience creating, editing and presenting executive-level presentations in PowerPointRequired Skills and Competencies:Proven ability to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailHigh level of discretion when dealing with sensitive informationCritical thinking – Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisionsStrong Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL skillsLawson knowledge preferred BrandsMart Total Rewards Our team members are our greatest asset.
