Overall responsibilities:

AD Mortgage is seeking a Government & Community Affairs Specialist to manage state and local government relations in Florida and enhance community partnerships throughout Broward County and across the state. This position will promote key policy goals, support regulatory compliance, and increase AD's visibility in South Florida as a reputable employer and industry leader. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with Florida state lawmakers & Broward County officials 
  • Monitor legislation & regulatory trends 
  • Support Tallahassee advocacy during legislative session 
  • Build partnerships with chambers, nonprofits, civic groups 
  • Coordinate community programs, sponsorships, and workforce initiatives 
  • Support industry association engagement (FAMP, MBA chapters) 
  • Work cross‑functionally to support market positioning & outreach 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • 2–5+ years in government affairs, public policy, campaigns, or community engagement 
  • Familiarity with Florida legislative process 
  • Strong public‑facing and communication skills
