POSITION SUMMARY:   

As a Senior Web Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital strategy and optimizing online experiences. Leveraging your extensive expertise, you will champion data-driven decision-making processes, providing actionable insights to enhance our web presence and maximize performance. This senior-level position requires approximately 8 years of experience in web analytics, where you will tackle complex issues and contribute to strategic initiatives. You are a proactive source of valuable and actionable information with a deep understanding of web best practices, norms, and usage patterns. 

This position is based in Seattle and reports to the Director, Digital Intelligence and Optimization 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Advanced Web Analytics: Lead the development and execution of sophisticated web analytics strategies to measure, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital platforms. 

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities. Translate findings into actionable recommendations aond coherent narratives to inform business strategy. 

  • Data Visualization: Ability to communicate vast and complex data stories in visually elegant and digestible ways, distilling the insights into compelling presentations. Comfort in Adobe Analytics and Tableau a plus. 

  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates. Work to identify candidates for A/B testing to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Tag Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of web tracking tags, ensuring accurate data collection and alignment with business objectives. 

  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards, providing key stakeholders with real-time insights into website performance and digital marketing effectiveness. 

  • Competitor Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors' digital strategies. Provide insights and recommendations to maintain a competitive edge. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and IT teams to understand business goals and contribute to the development of digital strategies. 

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. Relevant and sufficient work experience can replace. 

  • Approximately 8 years of experience in web analytics within an enterprise environment. 

  • Deep proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and tag management systems (preference for Tealium). 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing strategic decision-making. 

  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies. 

  • Certifications in web analytics or related fields are a plus. 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 

  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently with a positive attitude. 

  • Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills. 

  • Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. 

  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. 

  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends). 

  • Duties may require some travel to trade events and business planning meetings.

The annual base pay for this position is: $96, $145,200.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
