Position Overview:
Johnson Controls, a global leader in building technology and sustainability solutions, is looking for an experienced Technology Director to join our Fort Worth team. In this strategic role, you will drive technology innovation, manage a talented team, and work closely with leadership to implement technology solutions that enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse team of engineers, IT professionals, and technology experts in Fort Worth, delivering innovative technology solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure technology initiatives are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technology projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions that keep the company competitive.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology department.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to your team members.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure technology solutions meet operational and business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within the building technology or IT industries.
- Expertise in modern technology frameworks, infrastructure management, and enterprise software solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex technology projects from inception to completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working in hybrid environments with proficiency in modern collaboration tools and technologies.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $150,000 $160,000 annually
- Annual Bonus: Typically 10-20% of base salary
