This is an opportunity to step beyond transactional HR and directly influence business outcomes, leadership effectiveness, and employee experience, all while working remotely and partnering with diverse organizations throughout Texas.

What You'll Do

As a key member of your assigned partner companies' leadership teams, you'll help shape people strategies that fuel growth, engagement, and operational excellence.

Strategic Partnership & Influence

  • Partner with company leaders and New Charter People leadership to design and execute HR strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and people initiatives.

Full-Spectrum HR Support

  • Provide consultative HR support across payroll, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations, coaching, and development.
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for team members—guiding them through HR processes, systems, and benefits with clarity and care.

Culture & Engagement Champion

  • Collaborate with the People team to strengthen a culture where employees feel engaged, supported, and inspired to do their best work.
  • Help diagnose engagement challenges and implement solutions that improve retention and performance.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze workforce data (payroll, benefits, compensation, job levels, attrition) to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with fellow HRBPs and Learning & Development teammates to deliver impactful programs in wellness, training, leadership development, and career pathing.

What You Bring

Experience & Expertise

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HRBP, or in a related HR role.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience using HCM systems (Workday experience strongly preferred).

Education & Credentials

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • SHRM or HRCI certification and/or an advanced HR-related degree strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000

    (Final offer will be based on experience, skills, and market considerations.)
