Job Title: Director of Sales

Location:
Remote within 50 miles of the Bay Area

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive with a deep background in technology services sales. This individual will focus on driving new business and revenue generation, targeting mid-market and large enterprises. Key areas include application development, cloud migration, data analytics, and AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development:
  • Identify and engage with new clients, focusing on large and mid-market companies ranging from $300 million to multi-billion-dollar corporations.
  • Generate new leads, build relationships, and expand the client base across various sectors, including technology, finance, insurance, and telecom.
  • Sales and Account Management:
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, particularly for clients in need of application development, cloud migration, and managed services.
  • Handle accounts independently, serving as the primary client contact post-sale, supported by additional internal resources for account maintenance and growth.
  • Market Expansion:
  • Leverage existing networks to introduce services to new divisions within large organizations (e.g., Microsoft, Amazon).
  • Strategize and implement targeted sales plans to grow Quadrant's footprint in existing and new markets.
  • Product and Solution Knowledge:
  • Articulate and promote the company's data analytics, cloud, and AI-driven solutions, ensuring a clear understanding of how these solutions address client needs.
  • Develop custom solutions to meet client-specific challenges, collaborating with internal technical teams as needed.
  • Quota and Revenue Goals:
  • Meet or exceed an annual revenue target of $4-5 million, focusing on both new clients and new business within existing client divisions.
  • Close initial deals averaging between $250,000 to $500,000, with an expectation of scaling accounts to $1 million+ within 12-18 months.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in technology services, consulting, or software, with a proven track record of closing complex deals with mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Background in selling consulting services, cloud services, data analytics, or AI/machine learning solutions preferred.
  • Familiarity with working in high-growth or startup environments, ideally within Series B or C companies.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in creating tailored sales approaches and managing complex sales cycles with large organizations.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage C-level clients.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, capable of independently driving business in an unstructured sales environment.
  • Location:
  • Preference for candidates based in the Greater Seattle Area, with flexibility for a remote role if the candidate brings exceptional experience and a strong network.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • On-Target Earnings:
    $300,000 - $400,000 with uncapped commission potential.
  • Base Salary:
    $175,000 to $210,000 range, with a flexible structure based on experience.
  • Additional Incentives:
    Revenue-based commission on total account revenue and a fixed bonus for new logo acquisitions.
