Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in our care. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to foster positive relationships with both children and their families. The Daycare Teacher will implement educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide care for infants as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and maintain proper health records for all children in care.

Skills

  • Experience in a daycare setting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of special education techniques is a plus.
  • Proficient in classroom management strategies to create an effective learning environment.
  • Ability to provide infant care with patience and compassion.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
