Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials while ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creativity, making it essential for the candidate to have a strong understanding of various printing processes and design principles.

Duties

  • Operate and maintain printing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to understand project requirements and provide input on layout design and typography.
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure accuracy and consistency in color, layout, and overall print quality.
  • Utilize prepress techniques to prepare files for printing, including adjustments for color correction and image resolution.
  • Manage inventory of printing supplies, including inks, paper, and other materials necessary for production.
  • Assist in screen printing processes as needed, ensuring proper setup and execution of designs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Work with CNC machinery when required for specialized printing tasks or custom projects.
  • Design channel letters, pylon signs, pole signs, monument signs, electrical signs and more.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Corel,Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
  • Experience with machining processes related to print production.
  • Strong understanding of quality control measures within the printing industry.
  • Familiarity with CNC operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus for material handling tasks.
  • Previous experience in screen printing or print advertising is desirable.
  • Solid foundation in prepress techniques, layout design, and typography principles is essential for success in this role.
