Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer with a strong background in secure coding practices to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on building robust and secure applications using Golang. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high performance applications while ensuring the highest standards of security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Golang.
  • Implement secure coding practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Golang and secure coding.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience in Golang development (7 10 years).
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and principles.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Golang.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality software on time.
