Field Security Supervisor

Safety Facility Services is seeking a Field Security Supervisor to oversee and support security operations across our commercial and residential portfolio in the New York City area. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, providing field support to our officers, and maintaining strong client relations. You'll work closely with the Security Operations Team, responding to sites as needed and helping to uphold the professional standards our clients expect.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as an on-site leader and company representative across multiple client properties in Manhattan, Bronx, and Brooklyn.
• Support officers in the field, ensuring site procedures and standards are consistently met.
• Step in to provide coverage or concierge support when needed, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with the Security Operations team about site updates, incidents, and emergencies.
• Train and mentor new officers on site-specific policies and procedures.
• Review daily activity reports, incident logs, and shift documentation before submission.
• Verify that electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, communications) are operational.
• Assist with light administrative tasks when in the midtown office.

Schedule:

• Thursday - Monday, 3:00 PM to 11 PM or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• Monday – Friday : 6:00 AM to 2 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Monday – Friday : 7:00 AM to 3 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Travel will be between sites in Manhattan, Bronx, and Brooklyn (MetroCard/travel compensation provided).

What You Bring:

• Active NYS Security Guard License.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic administrative and computer skills.
• Comfortable leading by example and interacting with building staff, supers, and management teams.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $23.00 – $25.00 /hour + overtime eligibility
• Guaranteed 40-hour weekly pay, and OT opportunities available year-round.
