International Security Services, Inc. are currently seeking dedicated and reliable security guards Supervisor to join our team on permanent basis. As a security guard Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients' premises. You may be assigned to various locations based on the needs of our clients, which could include office buildings, residential complexes, retail stores, or special event venues.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise security guard staff responsible for monitoring and authorizing access to the premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the designated areas.
  • Conduct regular training sessions including patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
  • Managing multiple sites to insure maintaining a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions when needed.
  • Write comprehensive reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required.

Requirements:

  • Valid security guard license/certification in accordance with local regulations is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a security guard or related role is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain licenses and instructorship for FLSD, armed guard and DCJS security guard courses.
  • Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
  • Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have reliable transportation to reach different work locations.
