The Impact You Will Have:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and assisting with monthly reconciliations. You will play a critical role in supporting the Controller and CoCEOs by ensuring our financial data is accurate, organized, and compliant.
As one of the foundational members of our in-house Accounting and Finance Department, you will contribute to building and streamlining accounting processes that support a rapidly scaling organization.
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records by recording daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Ensure all entries are properly categorized and posted to the correct ledgers in QuickBooks Online to support precise financial reporting.
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable operations. Process vendor bills, issue timely payments, manage outstanding invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts. Maintain aging reports and build strong vendor and client relationships through consistent communication and accuracy.
- Receive, verify, and process all incoming invoices and receipts. Ensure all documentation is properly filed and easily accessible for audits or reviews.
- Collaborate with the Controller to prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments during closing periods. Verify all transactions are accurately recorded, reconcile accounts, and ensure that financial statements reflect a true and fair view of the company's financial standing.
- Generate detailed and accurate financial statements,such as profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries leadership review.
- Monitor and categorize company expenses, ensuring they align with departmental budgets and financial objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Support and execute global payroll operations across multiple regions. Coordinate with HR and department leads to ensure all timekeeping data, bonuses, commissions, and deductions are accurate.
- Verify compliance with local and international payroll regulations, maintain confidentiality of employee data, and ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
- Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, or similar).
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial data management.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- 3–7 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
Pay Rate: $25-$32 hourly
Job Type: Full-time
