Responsibilities:

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an US Air Force (USAF) market leader. This position works with other Federal agency market leaders to support the business development and marketing efforts of our Federal Programs team in achieving sustainable, growing, and profitable business units aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Particular emphasis for this position is on managing programs under current contracts and developing future opportunities with the US Air Force.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities through client relationships
  • Contributing to relevant business units' and company's business and strategic planning efforts
  • Identifying and developing teaming relationships with partner large and small business firms
  • Participating with project teams at key milestones
  • Maintaining client relationships for program and project success

Travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering, architecture, or a related field from an accredited college or university and at least ten (10) years of experience with four (4) of those years within a relevant industry

-OR-

  • If no degree, at least fourteen (14) years of relevant marketing experience in a relevant industry

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

  • Prior or current military service
  • A track record of business development success
  • Experience developing and executing capture plans for Federal opportunities
  • Experience leading military vertical or horizontal projects
  • Experience managing diverse facility or infrastructure programs
  • Experience building project teams with teaming partner firms
  • Strong relationships with Air Force agencies and installations and relationships with NAVFAC and/or USACE agencies delivering Air Force projects.
  • A professional license (PE, RA, PMP) is a plus.
