Receptionist / Office Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Bozeman, MT
Pay: $22 - $25/Hour
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our established Bozeman accounting firm. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude to our front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly and courteously
- Greet and assist clients and visitors with professionalism
- Maintain front desk operations, including mail, deliveries, and office security
- Process tax folders and maintain accurate records and filing systems (both electronic and physical)
- Perform data entry and update databases accurately and efficiently
- Support the Office Manager and CPAs with administrative and clerical tasks
- Maintain office supplies and ensure a clean, organized reception area
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and customer service–driven attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods
- Frequent movement within the office to access files, equipment, or assist staff
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Occasional bending, kneeling, or reaching overhead
Schedule: Minimum 20 hours per week/to be discussed in interview
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
