Role Overview

ZUGU is seeking a skilled videographer and video editor to support ongoing content creation. This role requires in-person filming at the Laguna Hills office twice per month, followed by editing and delivery of polished video assets optimized for web, social media, and paid advertising.

This position is ideal for a creative professional who can independently plan shoots, capture high-quality footage, and edit compelling short-form and mid-length videos that align with brand

standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film on-site video content twice per month at ZUGU's Laguna Hills location
  • Capture product-focused footage, lifestyle shots, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Set up lighting, audio, and camera equipment to ensure professional-quality output
  • Edit raw footage into finalized videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and the ZUGU website
  • Deliver multiple cuts or aspect ratios as needed for different platforms
  • Maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and branding across all content
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative direction and content goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, preferably with consumer brands or e-commerce products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating filming and editing capabilities
  • Proficiency with professional video equipment and editing software
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from shoot to final delivery
  • Reliable transportation and availability for twice-monthly on-site shoots
  • Strong attention to detail and brand consistency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating short-form social media content
  • Familiarity with product marketing, DTC brands, or Amazon-focused content
  • Understanding of lighting techniques for product and lifestyle shoots

Compensation

$1,000–$2,000 per month, depending on experience, deliverables, and editing scope. This is a recurring monthly engagement.
