Summary

As an IHS Worker at 4U Home Health Care South, LLC, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our clients. This position is essential in helping individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their comfort and well-being at home.

Responsibilities

  • Assist client with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping and personal care.
  • Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or caregiver.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring client safety at all times.
  • Assist client with medications as prescribed by giving verbal reminders
  • Support client in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to advocate for clients' needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in home health care or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and nutrition for elderly clients.
  • Compassionate approach with excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Basic knowledge of vital signs monitoring and patient assessment techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to assist with lifting or transferring clients safely when necessary.
