THE ROLE:

The Business Analyst ensures the reliable execution and continuous support of financial reporting and BI-based deliverables. The role applies independent judgment to structure, interpret, and maintain reports, dashboards, and standard workflows, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of information. In close collaboration with FP&A and business stakeholders, the position supports planning and forecasting activities through financial modelling and structured analysis, acting as a reliable finance partner for assigned topics. A strong focus is placed on the stable operation and continuous refinement of reporting and analytics processes.

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Support the delivery of financial reporting and BI-based insights, including the preparation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and standard workflows.
  • Contribute to integrated corporate planning and regular forecasting cycles, collaborating with business units and validate analyzed inputs.
  • Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and basic business cases to support management decisions and special projects.
  • Respond to ad-hoc performance and reporting-related requests under guidance from senior team members.
  • Leverage modern analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency in reporting, analysis, and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency across reports, planning models, and systems.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge & Application

  • Basic / moderate skills with moderate / high level of proficiency.
  • May consult with senior peers on general and complex projects.

Collaboration & Interaction

  • Collaborates closely with the FP&A team and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
  • Supports business teams such as Sales Customer Success and marketing with financial and selected operational KPIs, in close collaboration with senior FP&A colleagues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance or a comparable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical or controlling role with responsibility for BI or Data Analytics projects, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Solid experience with Power BI or comparable BI tools; initial experience with AI/ML approaches is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured working style and the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and a strong team player mindset.
