Position Summary

The Senior Accountant at Job Source is responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and analysis across multiple service-oriented entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance in all accounting activities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, analytical ability, and a record of improving close timelines and financial reporting quality. Experience with Sage Intacct and familiarity with public accounting are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

·      Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple Job Source entities using Sage Intacct, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

·      Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

·      Lead and support all aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

·      Perform detailed variance analysis of revenues, expenses, and key performance indicators.

·      Support the CFO with consolidated financial reporting, cash flow management, and management analysis.

·      Coordinate with offshore accounting teams to ensure consistency and data integrity.

·      Maintain intercompany accounts, allocations, and eliminations.

·      Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

·      Prepare and organize documentation for external audits and tax reporting.

·      Recommend and implement process improvements to accelerate close cycles and enhance financial reporting quality.

·      Provide training and guidance to accounting staff and offshore team members on systems and processes.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

·      Public accounting experience preferred.

·      Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in the service industry (e.g., staffing, consulting, or professional services).

·      Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with multi-entity consolidations.

·      Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or other ERP systems a plus.

·      Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·      Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

·      Experience improving monthly close timelines and financial reporting accuracy preferred.
