Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for transporting materials safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction-related items to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate loading and unloading of materials.
  • Assist in the operation of additional heavy equipment as needed, including backhoes, graders, water trucks, and tankers.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported and work performed on-site.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and organized at all times, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including backhoe operation and grader operation is preferred.
  • Ability to dig and pave as part of site preparation activities is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
