- Assess potential industries/sectors that could be of interest for investment
- Assess potential acquisitions in early-stage diligence
- Perform deep dive due diligence on the most attractive potential targets, including industry, company (steady-state and potential improvements), competition, customer, risk, etc.
- Support the Operations team in driving value creation efforts (both growth and cost improvement) on relevant AEP investments
- Execute detailed value creation plans post-closing, with identification of key deliverables and milestones
- Drive complete transformation in portfolio companies, working with management teams to ensure rapid execution & expected returns
- Monitor strategic and operational initiatives within portfolio companies; ultimately resulting in a successful exit of the portfolio company
- Leverage and deploy a network of advisors, consultants, and contractors to accelerate value creation
- Promote robust corporate governance and ensure timely delivery of relevant financial and operational KPIs by portfolio companies
