SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Director of Corporate Capture.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Director of Corporate Capture with primary responsibility for developing business leads and winning new business opportunities. As a core member of the Business Development Team, you will drive a disciplined position-to-win approach, to include early customer engagement, team building, opportunity qualification, competitive analysis, win strategy development and execution, and establishment of competitive advantages critical to winning competitive pursuits within defense markets, particularly within the US Navy. The position will report to the SEACORP Vice President of Business Development.Job Responsibilities Include:Lead the capture of high-value opportunities within the defense market, focusing on products and technology-driven solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders. Execute call plans, and gather, assess and validate customer requirements, identify gaps and emerging requirements.Collaborate with business development team to identify, qualify, and pursue defense market contracting opportunities aligned with SEACORP's growth strategy.Regularly assess, prioritize, and refine the business development pipeline to ensure alignment with growth goals, market demands, and strategic initiatives.Develop and execute capture plan through all phases of the capture and proposal process.Engage with partners to ensure collaborative approaches to capture opportunities.Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to inform capture strategy and help differentiate SEACORP's solutions.Work closely with internal technical teams and external partners to design innovative solutions that meet defense clients' needs.Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the capture process, including pricing, solution architecture, and proposal differentiators.Engage in proposal development, ensuring compliance with requirements and alignment with customer needs.Collaborate with Proposal Managers to deliver compelling, winning proposals.Brief capture status to senior leadership at specified milestones in the capture process when material changes occur, and as needed.Develop new methods for increasing probability of win and capture efficiency.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.Experience: 15+ years of defense related experience with 7-10 years business development experience with US defense markets, particularly within the Navy program offices and warfare centers.Ideal Skills and Experience:Experience with RDT&E prototype development and production programs.Ability to execute a quick reaction process for all customer responses.Ability to constructively influence and interact with company executives and senior leaders in the government.Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen.Willingness to travel, as necessary in support of business development / capture.Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams.As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. CitizenshipLocation: Washington, D.C.Travel: Weekly (approximately once a week)Clearance: SecretWork Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens.
