We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Furniture Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, installing, and configuring office furniture and related products at customer locations. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of an installation crew. This position works under the direction of a Foreman and may involve collaboration with team members and subcontractors. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and/or assist in loading assigned vehicles with all furniture, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete daily work assignments
  • Assemble and install office furniture and related products in accordance with provided instructions, diagrams, and project specifications
  • Deliver and install furniture at client sites, ensuring proper placement, alignment, and stability
  • Safely and effectively operate hand tools and power tools required for installation
  • Operate company vehicles, including a 16-foot box truck, in a safe and responsible manner
  • Work under the direction of a Foreman as part of an installation crew, which may include other team members and subcontractors
  • Communicate with project managers and clients to confirm installation requirements, timelines, and job-site expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment during and after installations
  • Identify and promptly report any damages, defects, or installation issues to supervisors

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts Driver's License with a clean and safe driving record
  • Ability to safely drive and maneuver a 16-foot box truck
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Effective problem-solving skills to address installation challenges
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with team members and clients
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Prior experience in furniture assembly or installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
  • Capability to work in a variety of environments, including office buildings and active job sites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
