What you'll do

Based at the Indianapolis head office of Selko USA, the HR Manager will report to the North America HR Director with a dotted line to the General Manager Sellko USA and Global Supply Points Director. This role translates Business strategy into HR priorities and develops people plans that enable organizational success. As a trusted advisor, the HR Manager partners with leaders on both strategic and operational people agendas, including goal setting, performance, talent development, succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational capability building. The role also drives adoption of the HR operating model, supported by global Centers of Expertise (Talent, Change, C&B, Operations) and the HR Shared Service Center.

The HR Manager is a member of both HR Management Team North America and the Local Management Team, ensuring alignment between business needs and global HR strategy.

Business Partnering

  • Actively contribute to the Management Team, aligning HR strategy with business objectives and global priorities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR agenda that balances immediate needs with long-term cultural and organizational transformation

  • Provide data-driven insights to support management decisions with significant people impact, leveraging HR analytics

  • Drive strategic workforce planning, capability building, and employee engagement to enhance organizational effectiveness

  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution

Change Management

  • Lead the design and execution of change management strategies that support transformation and employee adoption

  • Collaborate with leadership to communicate change objectives clearly and build a culture of adaptability through training and coaching

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives using feedback, performance metrics, and change analytics

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent implementation of global HR processes and programs across the employee lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete HR data in Workday and other HR systems

  • Manage HR budgets responsibly and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external labor regulations

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is responsible, accountable and ready to Own this role. Someone who is confident and credible, with the potential and ability to lead others and inspire respect through your actions.

You'll also need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field; Master's degree is a plus

  • 7–10 years of progressive HR generalist experience, including recent leadership responsibilities

  • Manufacturing industry experience within a global organization

  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset

  • Demonstrated expertise in change management, with strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficiency in digital tools, HR systems, and emerging technologies

  • Analytical problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic business environment

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business and global HR stakeholders

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. labor legislation and employment standards
