- Responsibilities. ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks Principal Architect - Applications at our San Dimas, CA location. Responsibilities: Responsible for solution architecture, development, quality assurance, performance, and delivery. Design scalable, reliable, and robust web applications and distributed systems. Create and mentor system, software, and functional design specifications. Design technical solutions and guide a team of developers as they implement the design. Lead problem solving and resolution of day-to-day design issues. Promote architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency aligned with business strategy. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as the technical reference. Work with clients, product managers, analysts, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, implement & deliver information technology solutions. Support production needs/activities.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field plus seven (7) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a master's degree and five (5) years of related experience.
- Work Experience. Four (4) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; Spring Framework; Restful Services; ORMs, including Hibernate; JMS; Tomcat; SQL/PLSQL; Oracle database; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit; Data structures; Distributed Application Design Patterns; and UML.
