- Assist with data collection, entry, tracking, and basic analysis for waste, recycling, edible food recovery, water use, debris, energy, and EV infrastructure programs.
- Support compliance and implementation of State regulatory requirements, including SB 1383 edible food recovery and organic waste diversion programs.
- Assist with GIS-based sustainability mapping, including trash and recycling enclosure mapping for development projects and updates to sustainability-related maps in coordination with the GIS team.
- Provide program support for energy and infrastructure projects, such as streetlighting replacement projects in coordination with Southern California Edison (SCE).
- Assist with sustainability budgeting support, including tracking program expenditures, maintaining records, and supporting basic budget documentation.
- Support public outreach and education efforts, including staffing events, conducting surveys, and preparing materials and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in City databases, prepare spreadsheets, draft basic reports and memos, and assist with routine administrative tasks as needed.
