Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregivers to provide high-quality care to residents in our two brand new luxury Assisted Senior Living, Board and Care homes in Thousand Oaks, CA . Family & Nurse owned and operated.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Administer first aid as needed and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
  • Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately in care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in long-term care settings.
  • Support clients in participating in community activities and maintaining social connections.

Requirements

  • Must speak English. Must be able to read/write in English.
  • Employee must be a citizen of USA or have a valid work visa.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is required.
  • Knowledge of home community care practices and systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing assisted living environments.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients when necessary, up to 40 pounds.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
