Job Description

The Retail and Preferred AI product management team is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join as Business Intelligence and Strategy Manager. As a key member of our team, you will work as  Product Owner responsible for driving POCs and assess viability of AI and GenAI initiatives across Consumer. In this role, you will partner with key leaders across various business teams in Consumer to gather AI ideas and collaborate with Technology and Analytics/Modeling/Insights (AMI) to test it out in the Innovation sandbox. The ideal candidate will have proven experience implementing large scale AI and Automation projects as well as strong knowledge of SDLC, Model Lifecycle and AI Model specific activities. In addition, technology documentation, and strong project management skills will be required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Identify and develop use cases of AI and Gen AI implementations across Retail and Preferred teams and work with LOBs to establish measurement of Return of Investment (ROI)

  • Work with Tech and AMI to test out AI implementation ideas in Innovation Sandbox, and assess viability of idea (document business benefits, yield, business integration point , complexity etc)

  • Document lesson learned and facilitate Go/No Go conversation with Sr leaders and stakeholders

  • Documents detailed business requirement for full scale implementation

  • Work with stakeholders on prompt engineering such as, including defining relevant context, the style, length, and format of its response, define guardrails etc., also to be able define best performing prompt and then continue to adapt the prompts as the AI models evolve

  • Responsible for the oversight and timely execution of all milestones and deliverables, participate in PI planning/ JAD sessions and represent end users requested features

  • Keeps track of evolving Gen AI capabilities and associated business use cases within Enterprise and broader Industry

 

Required Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications

  • 7+ Years of Experience and Bachelors/Master's degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science or similar discipline

  • Experience managing Tech initiatives for building AI and Automation capabilities

  • Working knowledge of GenAI, LLM, RAG tooling and finetuning capabilities

  • Good understanding of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology, strong working knowledge of JIRA/ Confluence/ Horizon/ AgileView

  • Solid understanding of structured data in relational databases and Hadoop as well as various types of unstructured/semi-structured data

  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools, user-centered design principles and User Acceptance Testing

  • Takes ownership and accountability for delivering high quality work, able to prioritize effectively, adapt, and meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, ability to effectively communicate complex topics

  • Knowledge of Consumer Banking (Contact Center, Financial Center, Landing and Investment, Fraud and Claims etc) highly preferred

  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification is desirable but not mandatory.
