Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to lead and optimize all aspects of our day-to-day property management operations. This strategic leader will oversee our team of high-performing employees and ensure that our properties are well-maintained, fully leased, and performing to financial expectations.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in property management, proven leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Supervise, support, and develop a team of property management professionals.
- Establish clear goals, accountability structures, and performance metrics.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Property Performance
- Ensure all properties are maintained to company/ownership standards.
- Oversee leasing strategy to maintain high occupancy and minimize turnover.
- Monitor and analyze property performance to ensure cash flow goals are met.
Operational Oversight
- Streamline processes and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
Financial Oversight
- Work with ownership to set budgets and financial targets.
- Monitor income/expense statements and property budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Owner & Tenant Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for property owners and investors.
- Resolve escalated tenant issues and ensure high satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in property management, operations, or a related leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial property management best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in property management software and reporting tools (Entrata, Microsoft Suite, etc).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80, $85,000.00 per year
