Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to lead and optimize all aspects of our day-to-day property management operations. This strategic leader will oversee our team of high-performing employees and ensure that our properties are well-maintained, fully leased, and performing to financial expectations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in property management, proven leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise, support, and develop a team of property management professionals.
  • Establish clear goals, accountability structures, and performance metrics.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Property Performance

  • Ensure all properties are maintained to company/ownership standards.
  • Oversee leasing strategy to maintain high occupancy and minimize turnover.
  • Monitor and analyze property performance to ensure cash flow goals are met.

Operational Oversight

  • Streamline processes and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel.

Financial Oversight

  • Work with ownership to set budgets and financial targets.
  • Monitor income/expense statements and property budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

Owner & Tenant Relations

  • Serve as a key point of contact for property owners and investors.
  • Resolve escalated tenant issues and ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in property management, operations, or a related leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial property management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and reporting tools (Entrata, Microsoft Suite, etc).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $85,000.00 per year
