Naples Bay Resort Bellman/Valet

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Valet/Bellman to join our team at Naples Bay ResortMarina. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests by managing vehicle parking, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Compensation:

Earn an average of $20 - $30 per hour ($12/hr plus cash tips)

Naples Bay ResortMarina Fifth Avenue South, Naples, FL 34102

Hours:

• Position opening NOW
• Shifts available: 7:00am-3:00pm OR 3:00pm-11:00pm
• Must be available to work weekends AND holidays

Job Description:

Valet Parking Attendants will provide valet parking services. Valet Attendants are responsible for creating an outstanding customer service experience for all guests. We can only serve our valued partners and guests by hiring the best people to join our team people with confidence, integrity, pride, and passion in serving others.

Valet Duties:

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles, ensuring attention to detail and care.
• Maintain a secure and organized parking area.
• Monitor vehicle keys and ensure proper handling of guest property.

Bellman Duties:

• Guest Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and escort them to their rooms.
• Information Provider: Offer information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Room Orientation: Familiarize guests with their rooms and hotel facilities, ensuring all questions are answered.
• Transportation Coordination: Arrange transportation for guests, including taxis and shuttles, as needed.
• Luggage Handling: Safely handle and store guest luggage during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
• Maintaining Appearance: Ensure the lobby and entrance areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Emergency Procedures: Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the front desk and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications:

• Driver's license for 4 years or more
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, excellent driving record and pass a background and DMV check
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, patrons and management with English language proficiency
• Employees must have a smart mobile phone with access to internet and email

Physical Requirements:

Ability to meet all physical expectations of valet parking to include:

• RUN or JOG to work assignments
• Stand for long periods of time (5-6 hours)
• Bend, squat, lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds (signs, podium, wheelchairs, etc)
• Work in all weather conditions heat, wind, rain
• Manual transmission "stick" experience preferred but not required

Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other employees or patrons.

Grooming Standards:

• No visible tattoos (must be covered with clothing, sweatbands or Band-Aids)
• Hair to be clean and well groomed. For males, length no longer than 1 / 2 inches above collar. No extreme hair styles
• No visible piercings. No earrings for male employees
• No beards. Mustaches neat and well-groomed and not to extend past corners of mouth
• Sideburns no longer than midpoint on ear
