Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rotary Operator to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process of our PolyMem wound care dressings, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate wound dressing machines and laminating and die cutting machines per GMP procedures to produce quality products.
  • Able to perform several tasks simultaneously.
  • Use calibrated rulers to maintain tight tolerances (measure to the 1/64th) on wound dressings.
  • Set up and operate slitting machine to slit and/or rewind material.
  • Maintain sterile conditions by bleach mopping floors in white rooms and also wipe down machines, dies, surface areas and tools per the GMP procedure.
  • Using the run sheets, pick all raw materials by lot numbers to maintain lot traceability as per GMP procedures.
  • Return any unused materials to their proper locations to maintain lot accountability.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
