What You'll Do
Manages and develops staff responsible for the analysis of the company's operations. Implements strategic initiatives by creating systems and processes to evaluate strategic programs and initiative. Leads the forecasting, financial planning, analysis and reporting functions of the organization of assigned business units. Builds business plans and comprehensive monthly forecasts. Responsible for development and execution of effective ideas and solutions which optimize company resources and improve profitability. Collaborates with all levels of management to help improve business acumen within the organization, while raising awareness levels and probing for greater efficiencies and business opportunities. Provides superior quantitative and qualitative problem solving recommendations, while handling multiple high profile projects concurrently.

  • Coordinates monthly forecasts, analyzing complexities and trends while identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with management to develop accurate projections of sales and profitability.
  • Leads the Strategic and Annual planning process, providing direction, recommendations, and alternatives to meet targets.
  • Develops store group sales and expense estimates, and coordinates a planning committee across departments.
  • Distribute and report on the weekly restaurant scorecard, providing analysis and key insights to leadership.
  • Innovates methodologies and systems for financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, recommending improvements for enhanced decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Manages and develops staff to implement strategic initiatives and financial analysis programs, creating systems to evaluate the financial success of decisions.
  • Able to work in a fluid environment and field ad hoc requests from senior management, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Need
Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in analytics software such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant industry, operations and trends.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial analyses including projecting, forecasting and budgeting planning.

Environment and Working Conditions

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time during the work day.
