Residential HVAC Install Field Supervisor Role and Responsibilities:

The Residential HVAC Install Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the install department and to ensure its continued profitability and growth. Including managing and training, troubleshooting, and delivering outstanding customer service. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing each job prior to installers going out.
  • Supervising the morning dispatch process. Including assigning the installer to jobs, making sure all equipment is loaded in a timely and efficient manner, and crews leave in time to be at their job by 7:30/8:00 am.
  • Visit each job site during installation to review each job's progress and resolve any issues as they arise.
  • Making sure each job is completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
  • Providing ongoing technical and communication training to the team as needed to increase performance.
  • Representing the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.

Residential HVAC Install Field Supervisor Requirements:

  • EPA certified
  • Nate certification preferred
  • NC HVAC License holder preferred
  • Must have current knowledge of common installation codes and practices
  • Have 5+ years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry
  • Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment
  • Proficient in the layout and installation requirements of duct work and duct fittings
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and related tasks and functions
  • Must be able to use a computer, tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Dependable and 100% customer satisfaction oriented
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier
