THE TEAM

The Treasury team initiates and monitors all money movements companywide including but not limited to new loan originations, borrower/investor payments, financing facility transactions and various ad hoc cash transactions. Growing and maintaining financing relationships and actively managing the company's working capital are key responsibilities for the team. We rely on each other to consistently complete our tasks and meet our deadlines all while keeping a fun and lighthearted team culture.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Jr. Treasury Analyst to help us manage and process our internal and external money movements. This role will involve internal reporting of our bank account positions and will require prompt reconciliations and approvals of money movements to ensure money flows in a timely manner. This role will require great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

JOB DUTIES

  • The Treasury Analyst is responsible for reviewing funding and construction
  • holdback draw wires, and for ensuring that the data reflected in the system aligns
  • with the loan documentation.
  • Process high volume bank transactions with accuracy.
  • Disburse payments from the service holding account to investors' FBO accounts
  • and perform reconciliation of these transactions.
  • Assist with monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and reconcile reports reflecting daily liquidity and warehouse line
  • capacity balances.
  • Manage tax payment requests including reconciling the tax advance on the loan,
  • correcting any inaccuracies and sending funds to the correct beneficiary.
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues in collaboration with internal partners,
  • ensuring prompt resolution of operational challenges as they occur.
  • Assist with various ad hoc tasks that the Treasury team handles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree. Finance/Math/Accounting preferred
  • 0-3 years of a finance, accounting, or other applied math field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Positive attitude and a great team player
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines throughout the day
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel preferred
  • Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus

Kiavi takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. The expected annualized base pay range for this full-time role to be performed remotely is $50,000 to $75,000 + 5% + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.   • Paid Leaves: Up to 8 weeks of paid leave for medical or caregiver purposes, and 12 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave. Short-term disability leave is also available for birthing mothers.
