Primary oversight of the administrative functions of the Physician Practice to include operations, staff supervision, customer services and problem resolution.. Provides leadership with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Collaborates with providers to improve processes and resolve issues. Develops and coordinates efficient department procedures that support the operations of the Practice.

na Requirements: EDUCATION:

Minimum:

  • High School graduate
  • BS Degree in business, healthcare, or related field.

Preferred:

  • M.S. in business or healthcare administration.

LICENSE:

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

  • 3-5 years experience in Physician Practice operations, 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with computerized patient scheduling.
  • Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point and EMRs.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Physician Office and Physician billing.
  • Ability to create and manage an operating budget.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point.
  • Medent systems experience and patient scheduling.

SKILLS:

Minimum:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including prior positive physician relations.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and maintain current systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, develop/maintain efficient office systems and complete payroll.
  • Strong verbal/written skills in communicating skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills, working knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 codes.

Preferred:

  • Outpatient admission/registration experience preferred.
  • Medical terminology.
  • Scheduling and billing knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health, DOT and Worker's Compensation.
